I’m honored to be invited to read a short selection of poems at 11:30 tomorrow at Redmond’s annual Poets in the Park day. I’ll be part of the Redmond Association of Spokenword (RASP) reading, which is the founding sponsor of this annual event. I’ve been attending RASP open mics for a few years. I love this group.
Poets in the Park is a wonderful and inspiring day of readings, workshops, and a book sale. If you’re in the Puget Sound area and love poetry, check out the full schedule in the link. It’s all free!
Featured poets include our state poet laureate Claudia Castro Luna and our Redmond poet laureate, Melanie Noel. Castro Luna will be giving a reading at noon, and offering a workshop in “list” poems at 4.
