This concrete heart is in the road around the corner where I often walk. Either it’s relatively new, shaped from the beating of tires, snow, rain and heat, or I’ve just not noticed it before.
I thought it fit well with this blackout poem on forgiveness, which can be read both forward and backwards. It’s in response to this week’s prompt @blackoutpoetrychallenge on Instagram.
