Found Poem No. 38: Winter Solstice

The winter solstice is a day for celebration, especially living in Seattle where the sun doesn’t rise until 8 a.m. and it’s dark by 4.

Darkness be gone!

It’s also my husband’s birthday. We laugh that the day he was born, the days got brighter. He certainly is my light — and that’s no laughing matter.
