Found Poem No. 34: Loss

This is the fourth poem I’ve found in the pages of the novel I just finished, and highly recommend, A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman.

I wasn’t thinking of children as I was writing this, but I found the feature photo on unsplash.com and it suits the poem.

Here are the other three found poems I’ve taken from Ove. I have a feeling Ove, who says “rules is rules” would not take kindly to me altering his book. I hope his creator, Frederik Backman, feels differently. I think so because he said in an interview, “I steal stuff from people around me and use it in fiction. I suppose most writers do.”
